Visit a coffee project located a short two-hour journey from BOGOTÁ. Once you arrive in the town of Zipacón you will head directly to La Palma and El Tucán Farm where you will be immersed in the world of coffee. Here, you will receive a full explanation of how Colombia has been able to become perhaps the best coffee producer in the world. Don’t think for a moment that you are just an idle spectator on this trip, you will be expected to participate! From the seed to the cup, by way of the seed germinator and the storeroom, you will experience and learn first-hand about the myriad of processes required to make that special brew. After viewing the coffee processing center and the drying area and exploring the different aromas and scents which come with specialty coffee, you will sit down to a sumptuous meal sourced from the sustainable and organic produce cultivated here in this region. After some more coffee…and some gourmet bread, return to BOGOTÁ.
