Leaving in the morning on a boat tour around the island. Short break to visit the island of Santa Catalina, which is separated from Providencia by a beautiful brightly colored bridge known as the “Puente de Amor”. The channel which separates the two islands was artificially created by pirates to defend the island better. Santa Catalina is a true treasure island and was the headquarters for the famed pirate Henry Morgan. From the boat see Morgan’s Head, a wave eroded rock formation. Break in the islet of Cayo Cangrejo to be able to enjoy a full 360 degree view of the multi colored waters here. Near to Cayo Cangrejo there are three small islands called the “Tres Hermanos” or Three Brothers which are important nesting sites for birds. Free time for snorkelling. Visit to Playa Manzanillo, a magical place which is atmospheric inasmuch as it is beautiful, which in the evening turns into one of the favorite spots to listen to reggae music. Later, continue to Southwest beach to have lunch. Return to hotel.
