HALF DAY SANTUARIO DE FLORA Y FAUNA DE FLAMENCOS ROSADOS

Half day visit to the Santuario de Flora y Fauna Los Flamencos, located approximately 20km from Riohacha in the county of Camarones, a territory that in the past belonged to the Guanebucanes indigenous people. This is an important lagoon system where you can spot the pink ibis, pink coloured flamingos and also appreciate its beautiful beaches. In a traditional fishing boat the trip continues to the Environmental Investigation and Educational Centre that works for the conservation of marine turtles which are endangered and are released into the wild once they have matured to an age that promises better chances of survival in the wild.

DURATION: Approximately five hours.

NOTE: The presence of pink flamingos depends on the migratory season. Boat trip is available when the lagoon is deep enough.
